In this multi-session mini course, learn to work with chocolate – proper melting and tempering, incorporating ingredients, making stunning chocolate accents to turn your creations into your own masterpieces!
We will learn the basics to make a stunning chocolate hazelnut torte to a classic chocolate cake with a whipped ganache frosting, and a decadent chocolate mousse that will have your guests begging for more! Can you say “yum?”
Highlights of the Cooking Class
Duration: 3 sessions of 3:00 hrs/session (Starting hour: 1 pm; Ending hour: 4:30pm – estimated)
Availability: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays
Highlights: Tempering chocolate, making ‘fancy’ chocolate filigre work and applying it to cake, whipping chocolate, and proper mousse techniques.
